Living Coastal

I have almost always lived by the sea.  Our summers were spent walking to the beach and smelling the summer roses and honeysuckle as we walked by the summer cottages that would fill up with children and adults.  The cottages were full of life with neighbors sitting on porches on hot summer afternoons with their iced teas while colorful beach towels snapped in the ocean breeze on clotheslines.  My summers were spent in the sun filled days on the sand or splashing in the cold sparkling waves of New England water or digging for shells and crabs in the warmer tidal pools.  Life was easy and comfortable and happiness was abundant.
